With the new release 3.27.0-ENTERPRISE of our BPMN Modeler Enterprise for Confluence we optimize the search capabilities for linking content from your Confluence by introducing personalized search suggestions.
Needle in a haystack
A well-structured Enterprise Wiki is key for an effective Knowledge Management. Confluence offers a broad range of tools to collect valuable knowledge and store important information. But as time goes by this collection grows continuously until searching for specific information becomes more and more difficult. The worst-case scenario is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Efficient search algorithms and the smart linking of content can be used to help with this problem. The BPMN Modeler Enterprise offers the possibility to link content from your Confluence to a BPMN diagram. In the past, users already had the pleasure of several improvements so one can find the desired content more efficiently - for example when linking diagrams and pages.
Find relevant content more quickly
To find content more quickly the new release 3.27.0-ENTERPRISE introduces search suggestions, which are based on your recent activities in Confluence. Among other things, these include:
- Last viewed diagrams
- Last updated diagrams
- Last viewed pages
- Last updated pages
These personalized search suggestions offer the ability to find a recently viewed or updated diagram more easily without the time-consuming process of searching for it by hand - this also applies to searching for Confluence pages and attachments.
The best part is: You don't have to do anything to profit from this newest feature of the BPMN Modeler Enterprise. Confluence already saves your recent activity based on your preferences. After the installation of the new release, the search suggestions are available for the following search inputs:
- Search for diagrams (Link diagram, copy diagram)
- Search for pages (Link page, create and link new diagram)
- Search for attachments (Link attachment)
